Meet Your Teammates

Huggins and Scott Auctions is a constantly growing company. Since our last auction (March 2006), we have more staff as well as field representatives in three additional states. Should you have an interest in joining our staff, we are always looking for part-time field representatives in new areas. Call our main office toll free 1-866-462-2273 and ask for Bill Huggins; it's a no lose situation for you, as well as a chance to make some serious money. Now, here are your Teammates:

Bill Huggins: President of the Company, as well as owner of the House of Cards, the oldest sports card and memorabilia store in the state of Maryland. He has been active in the hobby, on a full time basis, for almost 30 years. A dealer at all but the first two National Conventions and a major presence at most major shows around the country, Bill has about as much knowledge of vintage sports cards and memorabilia as anyone on the planet. The store is a Gold Powerseller on eBay with over 10,000 unique positive feedbacks and a 100% approval rating.

John Scott Sr: The original owner of the House of Cards along with Mr. Nick Shoff, before it's sale to Mr. Huggins in 1976. John has been in this business since the early 70's and while his vast knowledge of Americana, Original Art and Non-Sport cards is his true love, his familiarity with tobacco cards, Goudey's and early Bowmans may be compared to anyone in the hobby.

Josh Wulkan: At the age of 33, believe it or not, Josh has been an active member from the dealer side of this hobby since 1985. He has represented the House of Cards at numerous National Conventions, among many other shows and Managed the store for over a decade. He has studied the hobby with Bill for 20 years, has a critical grading eye and is the "workhorse" of the company. He has relocated to the San Francisco/Oakland area and will be our West Coast representative. He will still be heavily involved in every aspect of the catalog. Also, if you are on the left coast and have a collection you wish to include in our auction, please contact Josh.

John Scott Jr: An expert in Non-Sport cards and Americana, John Jr has been a collector and member of the hobby for as long as he can remember, working auctions and shows with his Father since he was old enough to walk and talk.

Steve Dickler: A 15-20 year dealer in the Philadelphia area, who has specialized in vintage unopened wax and sets. He has been a supplier to numerous card stores and collectors over the past two decades. Should you have a collection in the Philadelphia/NJ area, Steve is the man to contact.

Kevin Heffner: The Head Writer and Editor for the company. Kevin joined us after the February 2005 auction and instantly wowed us with his unique, diverse, yet potent and competant writeups. Kevin hails from Philadelphia and was a former store-owner with 15 years of front line hobby experience.

Stefan Wisinski: Although a mere 22 years old, Stefan will impress you with his professionalism and knowledge. With Josh moving to the left coast, many of you will now be dealing with Stefan on a day-to-day basis, concerning many aspects of our company. You will soon find out you are in good hands.

Kiya Sabet: Fresh from Law School, Kiya joined our staff shortly after our last auction, opting for his real love over money (for the time being). He has quickly added a vital cog to our machine. Kiya’s love is writing and he’s personally responsible for quite a number of write-ups in this catalog. A sponge, who can soak up info with the best of them, we look forward to Kiya’s informative writing style for many years to come.

Matt Flores: After a long, but successful bout with college, we finally have Matt on our staff full time. Working part-time with us for the last 5-years, Matt knows this industry like the back of his head. Don’t you mean hand? In this case, no, because if you come to our office, all you see is the back of Matt’s head. A highly motivated individual, whose work ethic is unparalleled.

James Feagin: Coming on board recently, James is fast becoming our “go to guy” for writing tobacco and other pre-war items. You can feel the passion in his writing because it’s there! We hope to keep him very busy.

Dick DeCourcy: What can we say about "Uncle Dick, The Legend". While building Georgia Music and Sports from a basement business to one of the largest mass distributors this industry has ever seen, Dick has seen and done it all. Now semi-retired, we are honored to have him on our staff as our North Carolina/Georgia representative. Should you be in that area and wish to discuss your consignments, give him a call. You will NEVER meet a finer gentleman, who respects this hobby and that exudees class from dawn till wine time!

Richard Wiercinski: A savvy show veteran dealer for many years, Richard's passion is vintage cards. He joined our staff in 2005 and has provided many quality items in this catalog. Richard represents the NJ/NY area for us and is highly qualified to handle any collection. If you're in the North Jersey area, and would like to discuss sale or consignment of your collection, call Richard; you'll love working with him.

Ron Vitro: From Aaron autographs to Zelmo Beatty's jersey, Ron has seen and handled it all. If you are in the New York area and have vintage sports cards or memorabilia to sell or consign, Ron is the man to call. A true professional in every sense of the word, we are honored to have him working with us.

Jonathan Abraham: What can I say about Jonathan except "he's done it all." From store owner to regional distributor to National table holder, Jonathan is a tested hobby veteran. If you're in the Florida area and are looking to sell or consign any vintage collectibles, call Jonathan. He will thoroughly impress you with his knowledge and helpfullness in turning your collection into the most money possible. Call him.

Kevin Endo: Originally from the Washington, DC area, Kevin is now semi-retired in the Ohio area. A real go-getter, Kevin will amaze you with his knowledge and enthusiasm about many aspects of this hobby. His honesty and integrity go along way toward securing many valuable collections for our auction. If you are in the Ohio area and have consignments to discuss, call Kevin 24/7. He never sleeps!
